PERSONAL SUPPORT WORKER - COMMUNITY/PRIVATE DUTY - MARKHAM

CASUAL PSW SHIFTS AVAILABLE FOR COMMUNINITY/PRIVATE DUTY CLIENTS (MARKHAM AREA)

SHIFTS:
•Days/Evenings/Nights – Weekday /Weekend/Holidays
•1 hour to 12 hours

REQUIREMENTS:
•Valid First aid - CPR certification
•Valid N95 Mask fit testing
•Personal Support Worker Certification (NACC if applicable) OR 1 year RPN transcript OR 2 year RN transcript
•Valid Criminal Record Check with vulnerable sector cleared - must be completed within the last year
•Current TB Test/Chest Xray and Immunization including covid vaccination

Duties and Responsibilities includes but not limited to:
•Provide personal care to clients as outlined in their care plans.
•Provide companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping.
•Assists clients in all activities of daily living/hygiene assistance, bathing, grooming, linen changes, etc.
•Assists clients with transfers, ambulation and exercises.
•Meets the safety needs of the client and uses equipment safely and properly.
•Functions within the limits of own experience and knowledge, and practices safely and competently within the job description.
•Completes records and documentations accurately and thoroughly.
