PERSONAL SUPPORT WORKER - WEEKEND SHIFTS IN HOSPITALS

CASUAL PSW WEEKEND SHIFTS AVAILABLE IN DOWNTOWN TORONTO, NORTH YORK & SCARBOROUGH HOSPITALS

SHIFTS:
•Floor Duty, Constant Care/Observation
•Days/Evenings/Nights
•8 hours-12 hours

REQUIREMENTS:
•Valid First aid - CPR certification
•Valid N95 Mask fit testing
•Personal Support Worker Certification (NACC if applicable) OR 1 year RPN transcript OR 2 year RN transcript
•Valid Criminal Record Check with vulnerable sector cleared - must be completed within the last year
•Current TB Test/Chest Xray and Immunization including covid vaccination

When assigned to hospitals, you will be working under the direction of the nurse. Duties and Responsibilities includes but not limited to:
•Provide companionship and personal care to clients as outlined in their care plans.
•Assists clients in all activities of daily living/hygiene assistance, bathing, grooming, linen changes, etc.
•Assists clients with transfers, ambulation and exercises.
•Meets the safety needs of the client and uses equipment safely and properly.
•Functions within the limits of own experience and knowledge, and practices safely and competently within the job description.
•Completes records and documentations accurately and thoroughly.
