We provide the following categories of staff:

• Registered Practical Nurses
• Personal Support Workers

Registered Nurse
Practices as a member of the multi-disciplinary team, under the standards of the College of Nurses of Ontario, Ministry of Health and Long Term Care Policies. Provides professional nursing care to the client, give direction to the Registered Practical Nurse and Personal Support Worker. Reports to the Nurse Manager.

Registered Practical Nurse
Assists the Registered Nurse in providing patient care as defined by the College of Nurses of Ontario.

Personal Support Worker
Works under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse/Charge Nurse of the unit to which he/she is assigned. Exercises judgement in accepting tasks and is responsible for his/her actions.
